Is it just me, or does anybody else enjoy time alone once every while. It’s Saturday, and I spent the greater percentage of my day alone.
I only went out for around two hours. Went to Autozone, then to Sports Authority, then to the gym and back home.
So, what did I do today? I read some more of the book I’m currently reading. I did my usual routine of going on Facebook, Gmail, YouTube, Tumblr, and Yelp. I fixed my rearview mirror for the 4th time these 3 days (will discuss in a bit), and I sat still, thought about things, and enjoyed the ambiance.
I had a pretty good day today. I consider myself a pretty selfless and helpful individual, and I was humbled by two salesmen today: one at Autozone and another at Sports Authority.
Three days ago, my rearview mirror decided to plummet off the windshield to bombard my shifter. Autozone. I’ve been there three times in the past three days. Each time, I was served by a different salesman. Each time, they were very patient and nice, and I was given refunds by the two failed rearview mirror adhesives. As I am typing this, the mirror mounting bracket is drying in the car. Hopefully, it will not fail me a 4th time.
I went to Sports Authority today to buy a new jump rope. The rope I most recently purchased was slightly thicker than ever before, so I was confused as to why they made the change. It appears as though the new ropes are all slightly thicker, so I get used to it. I showed him the rope I purchased a few weeks back and how it was already beat up; he gave me a full refund and gave me a new rope.
There are still good strangers out there. I wonder how many people I’ve ever set my eyes upon that I will never personally know. I wonder how many people I know that I do not know. I wonder a lot of things.
